At Florida Coast Handyman LLC, we tackled an interesting project that involved an exterior door replacement with smart lock installation. Our client’s original inswing exterior door was suffering from rot, and changes in height were causing it to drag. We efficiently addressed this by switching out the inswing door for an outswing one. A custom full composite jamb and threshold were ordered, along with a fiberglass half lite door featuring a built-in blind. In addition to the door replacement, we installed an advanced electric smart lock that syncs to an app on the client’s phone. This allows our customers to remotely lock and unlock their doors, offering both convenience and peace of mind.
